Russell Brand and Geri Halliwell are dating. No honestly, its true.

We’re pretty sure this may be one of the signs of the apocalypse  - according to reports Geri Halliwell and Russell Brand are getting it on.

It’s said the two have become a “serious” item after hitting it off at the Olympics closing ceremony a few weeks ago. Only in the celeb world could a two week long dalliance be counted as “serious” eh?

Anyway, the two have been on a string of dates including a cosy family day out with Geri’s daughter this weekend to Hampton Court Palace. A source close to the two said:

“Things are getting very serious between them — they’re a proper couple now. They had met several times in the past, but really got to know each other during the Olympics.

“People thought Russell was joking at the time, when he said he had a crush on Geri all over again, but it was true. They just clicked — they have so much in common.”

We don’t even want to hazard a guess what nymphomaniac Russell Brand has in common with Geri Halliwell, but let’s just say the comedian has always been vocal about his attraction to the former Spice Girl. In fact just earlier this month he said:

“I’ve got Spice Girls mania all over again now. It’s like going back to 1996.

“I’ve got a massive crush on Geri Halliwell too, so everything in the world was as it should be.”

What, before the apocalypse? Just those horsemen to wait for now.
