'It was a really important call': Pete Doherty reveals how his ex Kate Moss reached out to him recently

They were known as the crazy rock and roll couple who split back in 2007, but it seems that Kate Moss still cares for Pete Doherty.

According to the former Babyshambles frontman, the leggy supermodel allegedly got in touch with him recently to see how he was doing.

‘I got a call from Kate a couple of weeks ago, which came as a surprise as we haven't exchanged a word since it ended. And believe me, it ended nastily,’ the singer said.

‘But she was friendly and just asked me what I was up to. She wanted to know why I hadn't written any songs recently and whether I was still taking drugs. She said she was staying clean and that she was very happily married.’

The pair had somewhat of a disastrous on and off relationship, but of course, Kate is now married to The Kills frontman, Jamie Hince.

Meanwhile, Pete is currently living inParis, where he moved to in order to escape the constant press surrounding his private life.

The musician also opened up about his fling with late singer Amy Winehouse, and how badly her death has affected him.
