Lauren Conrad's Windy Big Apple Afternoon

Braving the windy weather, Lauren Conrad was seen out and about in New York City on Tuesday (October 16).

The "Hills" star looked chic in a cream-colored overcoat and flesh-toned heels while she carried a matching Chanel purse.

Recently, the former reality star talked to Allure magazine about how much of the show was actually real.

The 26-year-old fashion designer explains, "I think the story they told wasn't a dishonest one. The way they did it sometimes was. They aren't going to be there for everything. Sometimes two of their main characters will get into a fight, and that's important to the story line. The [producers] need that reenacted."
